Feedback to BODYROTIC Management…
I understand that many businesses apply a credit card surcharge, however, I was surprised at the size of the surcharge charged when I visited last Thursday. Usually I would pay using cash, however… (on this occasion) I used my credit card… I would ask if management could consider… not charging such a large Credit card surcharge?

With respect to your feedback about credit card surcharges, we understand and appreciate your position.
BODYROTIC employs what we believe to be the fairest methodology with respect to EFTPOS and credit card transaction costs…
• BODYROTIC does not per se charge a credit card surcharge – we simply pass on all bank/credit card company surcharges per transaction (ie. we automatically pass-through, or oncharge, all ‘cost of acceptance’ surcharges)
• The surcharges are the actual cost of each transaction for the chosen method of payment – so, it is only fair that cost be borne by that client
The current surcharges are:
MasterCard Credit 1.66%
VISA Credit 1.66%
AMEX 1.50%
EFTPOS 0.14%
With these numbers in mind, may I make a suggestion? – rather than using a credit card, perhaps consider using EFTPOS and transfer payment from a savings account – the surcharge on your 1 hour appointment paid by EFTPOS should be: $180 x 0.14% = 25 cents
